On a recent trip to York, we went to Bella Italia for dinner and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant was immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and our server Matt was so nice, very attentive without being overbearing. He was also very witty. We enjoyed our interaction with him. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

We came on our first night of honeymoon and the staff and food were sensational. Saban who was our server was so warm and friendly you felt like you were spending g time with family not sat in a restaurant.
The food was promptly prepared, we weren't rushed and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

We went to BI yesterday for my daughters birthday and Abbie was fabulous. We were a big table but she was attentive and friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and she didn't make us feel like we were too much trouble despite there being a lot of kids and a bit of birthday chaos! Thank you Abbie!

A little disappointed turned up at 16.50 was turned away no tables, my wife went online booked a table and we went back 10 mins later. When we were seated I asked to speak to the manager he was the one that turned us away his response was I do not have to justify myself to you it was the online booking system telling me we had no tables.
He came across very arrogant and self defensive Not very good customer service skills the on booking system let us book a table straight away. The male waiter with the pony tail was excellent and the food was good, the manager’s customer skills atrocious.

It was my first time going to Bella Italia (have ordered takeaway before from there) and the food was amazing (got a shared started, a pizza and a cocktail). The server was very friendly and it helped make the experience very enjoyable. I went with my partner who got similar to me food wise and felt the same regarding the experience.

Went to the York branch on a weekend away. I'm gluten intolerant so I struggle to find restaurants that have an option for me but was pleasantly surprised. The choice was good and varied and having been once will definitely go to another branch closer to home 👍

We visited on a Sunday night so a little quiet. Staff were very professional and friendly. Food was great, we rolled ours into a tapas so starters and mains together. With our discount card not bad at all £45 total including a bottle of house red.

Wasn't busy but had enough people to make it feel alive. Food was quick to come out. My son had a pizza and enjoyed it, I had lasagne and it was very mediocre, too much sauce and not enough meat, a bit disappointing really. The chips we shared could've done with another minute or two in the fryer.
It's not a cheap place to eat and so I'd expected a better food.

Came to Bella Italia for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The service from Reece was 100% attentive making sure everything was ok with both us and our baby and he was a natural at customer service. The food was lovely and full of flavour having had the lasagne and spaghetti bolognese. Now we've been we will definitely be back.
